Description	The Wilhelm Gustloff at its launch ceremony. The Wilhelm Gustloff was a large oceangoing vessel launched by Nazi Germany and operated by the KdF organization as a cruise ship. During World War II, it was requisitioned by the military for use as a hospital ship. The Wilhelm Gustloff was sunk by a Soviet submarine in 1945.
