This WikiProject was formed to foster better articles on the Bavarian city of Munich with a spirit of cooperation from members of this WikiProject. This page and its future subpages contain suggestions on formatting and layout of articles, which can be discussed at the project's talk page.
To participate, simply add your name to the members subpage.
Even though part of the scope is to help WikiProject Germany, this is still a seperate project and should be treated this way. Even though this is a seperate WikiProject, it is encourage to share ideas about the layout of articles and so on since Munich related articles are also Germany related articles.

Scope
This project covers the creation and editing of articles related to the City of Munich, its buroughs, geography, transportation, culture, history and so on. It aims to expand Wikipedia's resources on Munich in a fair and accurate manner.

- Help conform Munich-related articles to Wikipedia Policy.
- You can get free Munich-related images under GNU Free Documentation License. For some reason, this paticular license has become a big deal as of late. Is there anyone from Munich? You can really help this project's photo gallery.
- You can create and edit of Munich-related articles.
- You can do translations from German Wikipedia to English Wikipedia on Munich related articles.
- You can help do assessments of Munich-related articles.
- You can help expand articles currently in the Stub-class and Start-class.
- You can help reference articles.
- Since original research is against Wikipedia policy, you can research topics and help edit and reference articles.
- You can help expand stubs to start-class articles and eventually to Featured article status.

- Article Improvement Drive(talk) - This is a drive in relation to existing Munich-related articles which WikiProject Munich members and other users can nominate, vote for and contribute to the improvement of an article.
- Article Referencing Drive(talk) - This is a drive in relation to existing Munich-related articles which WikiProject Munich members and other users can nominate, vote for and contribute to the referencing of an article.

- Boroughs (talk) – Munich boroughs
- Physical geography (talk) – Region, parks, climate, physical features
- Transportation (talk) – Roads, trails and rails in and around Munich.

- People (talk) –People Task Force includes residents of the current city of Munich, all its predecessors, and all those people who have resided in Munich who have shaped Germany, Bavaria or Munich.
