[edit] Wikipedia:Version 1.0 Editorial Team cooperation

Hello. I'm a member of the Version 1.0 Editorial Team, which is looking to identify quality articles in Wikipedia for future publication on CD or paper. We recently began assessing articles using these criteria, and we are are asking for your help. As you are most aware of the issues surrounding your focus area, we are wondering if you could provide us with a list of the articles that fall within the scope of your WikiProject, and that are either featured, A-class, B-class, or Good articles, with no POV or copyright problems. Do you have any recommendations? If you do, please post your suggestions at the listing of all active Places WikiProjects, and if you have any questions, ask me in the Work Via WikiProjects talk page or directly in my talk page. Thanks a lot! Titoxd(?!? - help us) 07:06, 11 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Category:Wikipedia requested photographs in Minnesota

Many articles covered by this WikiProject lack photographs. As part of a subcategorization of the requested photos category, there is now a category for Minnesota articles needing photos - to use it, just add {{reqphotoin|Minnesota}} to the article's talk page. I have only added a few articles to the category so far, but it would be an easy way to make an extensive list Minnesota-related articles lacking photos. I hope you find it useful! TheGrappler 06:57, 23 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Duplicate categories for Minneapolis-St. Paul

I noticed that there are two duplicate categories: Category:Minneapolis-St. Paul and Category:Minneapolis-St. Paul, Minnesota. The latter category has only one subcategory, and that's for pictures. The former category seems to have everything in it. I nominated Category:Minneapolis-St. Paul, Minnesota to be merged into Category:Minneapolis-St. Paul. The discussion is at Wikipedia:Categories for deletion/Log/2006 May 4#Category:Minneapolis-St._Paul.2C_Minnesota_to_Category:Minneapolis-St._Paul if anyone wants to express an opinion either way. I don't have any strong opinions, but it might be easier to merge the smaller category into the bigger one. --Elkman - (talk) 00:14, 5 May 2006 (UTC)

I say just go ahead and make the merge. Its makes more sense.--Gephart 00:38, 5 May 2006 (UTC)
Merge them. Let me know when you're done on my talk page and let me know which one to delete and I'll take care of it. This isn't the kind of thing that's going to either elicit a lot of discussion, nor will a summary deletion of the redundant category be a source of admonition and castigation. This is a classic "slam dunk". Cheers, Tomertalk 05:31, 5 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Schools

Could we also work on improving the information for the schools? There is 2 websites we could use: greatschools.net and publicschoolreview.com. Thanks!

[edit] Stubs

Anybody know what happened to {{Minnesota-stub}}? It up and disappeared. Do we need it? What other Minnesota-related stub notices do we need?   JEK   Sunday, April 8, 2007 at 09:02

I belive it was removed because there are more specific ones.-Ravedave 17:43, 7 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Project of the week

I added a project of the week, Eventually we might need to vote on it, but for now whoever gets there first can choose a project. I figured our 1st project should be getting the state article to FP status. -Ravedave 17:43, 7 June 2006 (UTC)

  • FP as in featured picture, or FA as in featured article? If you're talking about a featured article, that will probably take more than one week, as I found out with Glacier National Park (US). I'm willing to help out either way, but I just want to know what we're doing first. (I'd need a really wide lens to take a picture of the whole state, for example.) --Elkman 18:16, 7 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] History buff needed

Please check out List of current and former capital cities in the United States and make sure that Minnesota's capital cities are listed accurately. A word of warning: the page does contain quite a bit of complicated wiki formatting, so if you're not comfortable editing it, just post your changes on the talk page and someone more experienced will apply them to the article.   JEK   19:53, 28 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Nominate articles for Portal:United States

I've worked for the past month to update Portal:United States and keep it better maintained. Though, I think the Portal:United States would be even better with broader participation. One way to do that is instead of choosing the "selected article" myself each week, if others would nominate articles and help make decisions. (same goes for pictures, though these are stocked up through July 29) If there is anything related to Minnesota (or anything else related to the U.S. - culture, music, literature, geography, history, politics, ...), please nominate. I'd also like people to weigh in on the nominations and help select what should be featured. Thanks. --Aude (talk contribs) 23:25, 28 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] New "People from [city]" Categories

Hello, everybody. I am the bozo who just recently created the new subcategories in the "People from Minnesota" category. I thought that some of you might want to know why they were created, and why they often have so few pages in them.

The majority of the states have "People from [state]" categories which have at least 200 entries, sometimes over 1,000. This is clearly an unworkably large number for anyone wishing to use the category for research purposes. In 8th grade in Rapid City, South Dakota, the social studies class asked us to write, over the course of the year, reports on two or three people who were or had been residents of the city. Because of that, I have reason to believe that they could be used and probably are used for research purposes. To make such research easier, I looked at the list of metropolitan statistical areas and basically entered in one new category for each metropolitan statistical area.

I know that many of these categories might well be, in the eyes of you who know more about the cities in question much better than I do, misnamed or otherwise faulty. I apologize for any mistakes I may have made along those lines, and I would welcome any corrections, including deletion, that any of the rest of you might choose to make. With that in mind, I have also generally populated the categories with only one or two names, to ease in the process of deletion or renaming.

I thought you all should know why these categories were created, and felt some degree of responsibility for letting your know. I wish you all the greatest good fortune in making the coverage of your state in Wikipedia of the greatest scope and quality possible, and I hope that I haven't annoyed too many of you by my recent actions. Badbilltucker 13:29, 29 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Stub deletion notification

This message is to inform the WikiProject that {{Minnesota-stub}} and Cat:Minnesota stubs are being considered for deletion at WP:SFD. The category is currently undersized, meaning it has less than 35 articles. Please populate this within 6 days (July 27th) or the stub template and category will be deleted. If you have a question, feel free to leave a message on my talk page or on the SFD page. Thanks you and happy editing. ~ Amalas rawr =^_^= 17:03, 21 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Minnesota State Fair

As I've said elsewhere, I'd like to make a serious effort to bring this up to at least good article, and preferably featured article, status. Help is appreciated. It seems like it's something that would be relatively easy to reference and find resources on, and something most or all of us are familiar with. Grandmasterka 06:10, 9 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] On roads, again

I'm asking all Minnesota editors to take a look at this, and contribute your wisdom and local knowledge to the discussion if you can. Jonathunder 20:50, 25 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] List of people from Minnesota

This list is mostly of well-known people who were born here, contributed to the history of the state, or lived a portion of their life here and made contributions to mankind.

Mary Tyler Moore is on the list, and as far as I can tell the only connection is that she played Mary Richards on television, a fictional character who lived in Minneapolis. There is a statue of her in Minneapolis related to that role. I think she should be deleted from the list. Anyone agree/disagree/care? Appraiser 17:47, 30 September 2006 (UTC)

Go ahead. This reminds me of a story, which happened to a friend of a friend of some guy I met in a Minneapolis bar (so it may be an urban legand). He went to the address given in the show for where Mary was supposed to live, and asked if she was home. He was told, politely, that the use of the address was entirely fictional, and that there was, in fact, no real connection between that place and the show. It was not filmed there. The visitor said, "Yes, I understand all that. Is Rhoda here, then?" Jonathunder 22:11, 1 October 2006 (UTC)
I've noticed state project templates on the talk pages of some other people/states. Are we supposed to do that too I wonder? Cricket02 05:37, 21 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] List of people from Minnesota

Two listed tasks are

  1. Clean up List of people from Minnesota.
  2. Make sure people in Category:People from Minnesota are included in List of people from Minnesota.

I have just completed these tasks, however the category is constantly growing. Whenever someone adds the category to an article, the name is added. I tried "watching" the category page, but that doesn't inform me when a name is added. Does anyone have any idea how to be alerted when a new name is added, so that this list can be kept up-to-date? Appraiser 15:44, 10 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] List of radio stations in Minnesota

I (Mattdp) will continue to get the radio station list in sync with the FCC records. However, I will need local people to confirm the data on their local radio stations (like slogans and formats).

The tasks to be accomplished are:

 1. Finish adding in all stations.
Status (10/11/06): AM station from 530-1200 KHZ are in sync with the FCC database records.
 2. Get people to confirm the formats and slogans of stations in their local area (something I can't really do).
 3. Create an article for each individual station.
 4. Create the By callsign, By city, By format, By market, By network lists (Preferably, this should be done after the initial [by frequency] list is finished).

[edit] List of Minnesota companies nominated for deletion.

This is a heads up that List of Minnesota companies has been nominated for deletion. I have proposed a remedy on its discussion page. Share your thoughts on the articles for deletion page. JonHarder 23:46, 14 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Invitation to new WikiProject

A new WikiProject has been started, and may be of interest to members here. It is WikiProject National Register of Historic Places. It covers all listings on the Register, in all states and territories. Should you be so inclined, please feel free to join. And spread the word to any other interested parties. -Ebyabe 19:47, 19 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Units

I noticed that most of the articles have metric measurements first and standard second, and in some cases, there is no standard measurement. For instance, population density is marked as persons per square kilometer, with no mile conversion. Should standard measurements be the norm, or is there a reason for them to be metric? --Sable232 03:09, 20 October 2006 (UTC)

Manual of Style (dates and numbers) addresses this. It states among other things conversions should generally be included and not be removed and choose SI units as the main unit, with other units in parentheses. But there are other nuances in that manual of style, so you'll want to read it yourself. JonHarder 03:27, 20 October 2006 (UTC)
I wasn't intending to remove anything, just rearrange. According to the manual, it seems like we should have the standard come first, because the articles are about U.S. places, and because (I assume) the original measurement was in standard form. --Sable232 03:58, 20 October 2006 (UTC)
I prefer the SI (metric) units first, but won't put any more effort into defending or advocating that position than this sentence! I recently worked on an article where my source had units in archaic Russian units which I converted to SI and English units. JonHarder 13:49, 20 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Project directory

Hello. The WikiProject Council has recently updated the Wikipedia:WikiProject Council/Directory. This new directory includes a variety of categories and subcategories which will, with luck, potentially draw new members to the projects who are interested in those specific subjects. Please review the directory and make any changes to the entries for your project that you see fit. There is also a directory of portals, at User:B2T2/Portal, listing all the existing portals. Feel free to add any of them to the portals or comments section of your entries in the directory. The three columns regarding assessment, peer review, and collaboration are included in the directory for both the use of the projects themselves and for that of others. Having such departments will allow a project to more quickly and easily identify its most important articles and its articles in greatest need of improvement. If you have not already done so, please consider whether your project would benefit from having departments which deal in these matters. It is my hope that all the changes to the directory can be finished by the first of next month. Please feel free to make any changes you see fit to the entries for your project before then. If you should have any questions regarding this matter, please do not hesitate to contact me. Thank you. B2T2 19:04, 25 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Minnesota up for FA

I have recently nominated Minnesota over at Wikipedia:Featured article candidates/Minnesota, please leave your comment. Thanks! - Ravedave (help name my baby) 04:46, 28 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Minnesota article reaches FA status

The Minnesota article reached featured article status today. Our first FA article! I'd like to thank some of the people who put in a great deal of time and hard work to get it there. That includes Ravedave, Appraiser, Kablammo, Outriggr, Meersan, Elkspeak and Jonathunder among others.

Hopefully we can move on as a team to another Minnesota article to bring others to FA status also. I note that California has five FA articles listed. But, I believe that the Minnesota article was the first state article to reach featured article status. Perhaps one or more of the sub-articles referenced in the Minnesota article? We can discuss that further, later.

Further more I'd like to give an original Barnstar to Ravedave, Appraiser, Kablammo for their efforts.

Atom 14:29, 3 December 2006 (UTC)

I've been categorizing articles related to the state. Please look at Category:Top-importance Minnesota articles, Category:High-importance Minnesota articles, and Category:Mid-importance Minnesota articles, and suggest changes to the articles' relative importance. Then I suggest that we work on reaching at least GA status on each of the Top-Importance articles related to the state. Thanks Appraiser 17:37, 30 November 2006 (UTC)
I plan to start attacking the articles here:Category:Top-importance Minnesota articles, particularly those in worst shape that people will be linking to from Minnesota when it's on Main page. Appraiser 02:06, 4 December 2006 (UTC)
I've been working on History of Minnesota a lot lately, with the goal of reaching FA status. Any help would be appreciated, of course. I've mainly been working on creating stubs for the red links in the article, such as some of the Sioux Uprising battles. If someone wants to research and take on Antoine Auguelle and Charlemagne Tower, that would help. Any general copyediting and checking for completeness would be useful, too. --Elkman - (Elkspeak) 14:19, 4 December 2006 (UTC)
I started the article for Charlemagne Tower; needs categorizing. Grika 20:40, 4 December 2006 (UTC)
Just wrote the stub for Antoine Auguelle. It's pretty slim; not much info readily available. Grika 06:51, 5 December 2006 (UTC)

That sounds like a possibility, and will require a few visits to the Minneosta Historical Society, I think. (Field trip!).

Child articles, and related articles referenced in the Minnesota article seem to be:

Also what seems like high priority items would be:

Maybe we can go through the list that Appraiser gave :Category:Top-importance Minnesota articles and get them all rated and ranked first, and then focus on pushing GA to FA and then "A" and "B" to GA from that list?

As *History of Minnesota and Music of Minnesota are our only GA (I think), that is in alignment with Elkman's suggestion. Atom 15:13, 4 December 2006 (UTC)

List of Registered Historic Places in Minnesota might be something to work on as well. I've been taking care of the state highway articles of late, which is coming along fairly well. I could start working on Parks in Minnesota, I assume this category is just for state parks?
As for List of townships in Minnesota (two-part article): This used to be a page of incorrect links and had cities included. I cleaned all of that up, is there anything else that should be listed there? --Sable232 16:24, 4 December 2006 (UTC)
Would it be possible to put Minnesota on the Main page for May 11, specifically May 11, 2008 - Minnesota's 150th anniversary of statehood? --theblueflamingoSpeak 00:56, 12 January 2007 (UTC) (I know Raul sometimes puts FA on specific days related to the article, so I was wondering what you guys think, since you guys are the ones that contributed heavily to the article).

[edit] North Shore (Lake Superior)

I wrote large portions of this article earlier this year (before I learned about inline citations, so I intend to do an overhaul sometime this winter, but that's another matter) and recently noticed that there's a spot on the minnesota template for "North Shore", but it doesn't link anywhere. I'd add it myself, but I don't know how. Can anyone do that?

As an aside, the article could really use some work and I've left it unfinished for months now because I don't have good source material. Any help is always appreciated. I know making this the most comprehensive article on the place isn't really your top priority, but that's my dream, some years down the road... Thanatosimii 23:42, 29 November 2006 (UTC)

Are you talking about Template:Minnesota? There's a link to it within the "Regions" section, and it looks like the link goes to your article. If you're viewing it from within the North Shore (Lake Superior) article itself, you won't see a link -- instead, you'll see just the title bold and in black. (Like this: Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Minnesota.) As far as work on the article goes, just work on it as you have time. I think mentioning it here will get some people to pay some attention to it, as well, if they have time. --Elkman - (Elkspeak) 23:51, 29 November 2006 (UTC)
Ah, I don't understand these things. That seems to be the answer. Thanatosimii 00:02, 30 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Portal for Minnesota

Added the Minnesota Portal. It has a beginning, but needs to be fleshed out. Particularly a list of Minnesota images to be replaced one a week, or two weeks, a list of Minnesota historical comments for each month, and a list of articles about Minnesota for us to feature. Also, looking for volunteers to maintain the portal. Atom 20:13, 3 December 2006 (UTC)

Please see Portal talk:Minnesota and Portal:Minnesota/wip-scenic. If you have favorite scenic places in MN, please add them to the list, and we will get them in the portal eventually. Atom 21:23, 9 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Tourism category created

FYI: I just created Category:Tourism in Minnesota. Please populate it if you are so inclined. Mike Dillon 19:36, 9 December 2006 (UTC)

Why did you remove the tourist attractions category from a bunch of article and then create that one? Wouldn't it have made sense to replace "tourist attractions" with that category? -Ravedave (help name my baby) 19:41, 9 December 2006 (UTC)
It might have made sense to do that, but I didn't. In my (possibly uninformed) judgement, the articles that were being added did not belong in the category in all cases. Also, I had not intended to create the new category when I removed the non-existent one. Mike Dillon 19:45, 9 December 2006 (UTC)

Here's the articles I removed Category:Tourist Attractions in Minnesota from:

  1. Aerial Lift Bridge
  2. Aquatennial (added new category)
  3. Biggest ball of twine
  4. Fitzgerald Theater
  5. Fort Snelling, Minnesota
  6. Foshay Tower
  7. Guthrie Theater
  8. Heart Lake (Minnesota)
  9. Herman the German
  10. Lake Itasca
  11. Lake of the Woods
  12. Mall of America
  13. Minnehaha Falls
  14. Minnesota State Fair
  15. New Ulm, Minnesota
  16. Nicollet Island
  17. North Shore Scenic Drive
  18. Saint Paul Winter Carnival (added new category)
  19. Split Rock Light
  20. Stillwater, Minnesota
  21. United States Hockey Hall of Fame

It didn't make sense to me for things to be Category:Landmarks in Minnesota and Category:Tourism in Minnesota, but I'll leave it up to others to decide. Let me know if you have any other questions. Mike Dillon 19:55, 9 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Added articles

Added Pike island and Bradbury Brook. Both would benefit greatly from other perspectives and energy. I still ahve to work through ref's on Pike Island to properly format, and get much more detail. Atom 21:21, 9 December 2006 (UTC)

Pike Island is currently on "Did you know..." on Main Page. It will probably be there for a few hours. Appraiser 20:19, 13 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] University of Minnesota Task Force

I would like to propose the creation of a task force to coordinate articles relating to the University of Minnesota/University of Minnesota system. I had thought of creating a separate WikiProject for these articles, but though that it would be a better idea to fold it into this larger project. Any thoughts? I'm more than happy to get started on this if a number of you think it is a good idea. The Military History project has set up several task forces that can serve as models for this one. Gopherbone 06:37, 21 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Wikipedia Day Awards

Hello, all. It was initially my hope to try to have this done as part of Esperanza's proposal for an appreciation week to end on Wikipedia Day, January 15. However, several people have once again proposed the entirety of Esperanza for deletion, so that might not work. It was the intention of the Appreciation Week proposal to set aside a given time when the various individuals who have made significant, valuable contributions to the encyclopedia would be recognized and honored. I believe that, with some effort, this could still be done. My proposal is to, with luck, try to organize the various WikiProjects and other entities of wikipedia to take part in a larger celebrartion of its contributors to take place in January, probably beginning January 15, 2007. I have created yet another new subpage for myself (a weakness of mine, I'm afraid) at User talk:Badbilltucker/Appreciation Week where I would greatly appreciate any indications from the members of this project as to whether and how they might be willing and/or able to assist in recognizing the contributions of our editors. Thank you for your attention. Badbilltucker 22:12, 29 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Zip codes?

Regarding the city template, where, if anywhere, should zip codes go? I've seen them in a variety of places on Wikipedia entries, including the introduction and under the geography heading. It would be nice to have a standard place for this kind of information. Thanks, Jcbutler 15:43, 6 February 2007 (UTC)

IMO they really shouldn't be in Wikipedia at all. --Appraiser 16:05, 6 February 2007 (UTC)
There's been discussion of that, but no clear consensus. In my opinion, for a small town, particularly in Greater Minnesota, where a ZIP code probably has never changed and is unlikely to in the forseeable future, having that somewhere might be useful. For a city where there may be a changing list of ZIP codes, that isn't as likely to be something a reader would expect from Wikipedia. Jonathunder 16:39, 6 February 2007 (UTC)

For now, I've decided to include it in geography, along with time zone and other similar information. Seems like the most logical place. --Jcbutler 20:36, 6 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] U of M

I disagree with the U of M and U of M system being labeled as core article. What do you guys think? -Ravedave (Adopt a State) 22:56, 6 February 2007 (UTC)

I don't feel strongly either way. There are 16 core articles which seems like a reasonable number. Glancing at the "high' list, nothing pops out as an article that should move up the list. Did you have something in mind to swap with them, or do you prefer fewer core articles? I was disappointed when Saint Paul failed GA, because I think it's in decent shape. I was also disappointed at the dearth of interest in improving it. Minneapolis has been improved markedly (thanks to User:Susanlesch especially). I wouldn't mind concentrating on these two next. --Appraiser 01:43, 7 February 2007 (UTC)
I don't necessarily think we need more top articles, I just think that if I were choosing the "top" Minnesota related article those wouldn't be on my list.

[edit] Culture of Minnesota

I have created Culture of Minnesota it needs more work though. -Ravedave (Adopt a State) 18:10, 7 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Minnesota Corporations

I've created Template:Minnesota_Corporations, based on Template:Seattle_Corporations and Template:Philadelphia_Corporations (I'm sure others exist as well). I haven't yet added the template to the linked company -- does anyone know if that can be done automatically somehow? Afiler 22:46, 8 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] League of Minnesota Cities

I added some references to League of Minnesota Cities, but I'm worried that they don't sufficiently demonstrate notability. --Eastmain 02:23, 14 February 2007 (UTC)

Some humorless editor got mad because he thought the {{User en-us-mn}} userbox was too POV and changed it to "This user can speak North Central English." I've restored the old one to {{User:Sable232/User en-us-mn}} if anyone is interested. --Sable232 02:30, 19 March 2007 (UTC)

Heck, I decided to be bold and re-redirect the old title to mine. I should have restored it there, but I didn't want to deal with it becoming an issue. --Sable232 21:32, 21 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] WikiProject Cities, Minneapolis

Hello. Minneapolis, Minnesota is progressing. A week or two ago it needed 50 or more citations. Today something less than 20. When those are done, unless someone here advises otherwise I will try to request GA. If you feel like commenting on the article's talk page there are recent requests for feedback 1) on the use of templates and 2) on the splits to daughter articles. The order of sections and the daughter plan are derived from Wikipedia:WikiProject_Cities#Article_structure_example_for_a_U.S._City which allows for city-specific additions, in this case (and of course they may change in the future) "Arts and media", "Religion, charity and health" and a calendar of city events. Best wishes. -Susanlesch 05:51, 24 March 2007 (UTC)

  • Thanks to each and every person who edited Minneapolis, we just entered peer review. Sorry to spam you but maybe some people who read this page will be interested. -Susanlesch 21:15, 31 March 2007 (UTC)
  • Thanks to Ravedave and Gopherbacker and other people who helped, and to Elkman and Appraiser who are contributing to a new child article. I think I will close peer review and request FA tomorrow morning after a round of copyediting tonight. Anyone who wishes to help with that, the more the merrier. -Susanlesch 01:28, 6 April 2007 (UTC)
  • Because we have new population figures again today and a request to look at the demographics summary, I am holding off a just a bit before FAC. Things are going pretty well despite an unpleasant exchange with an editor and I'd like to thank everyone who is contributing time and edits. -Susanlesch 15:28, 7 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Minnesota on the front page!

Raul654 has said that Minnesota will be featured on May 11th, so lets try and make it FA+ by then as well as getting all the surrounding articles up to shape. -Ravedave 02:52, 27 March 2007 (UTC)

  • Ravedave, thank you for the plan for the Minnesota front page day, and for adding Minneapolis as the WikiProject Minnesota "Article of the Week" Current Project. But Minneapolis is up for GA right now and stability is a criterion. How do you propose to reconcile those two goals? I made an accidental edit last night otherwise had planned to not touch the article until it is evaluated. Also a note, I added a to do list for FA just now (to what was suggested by others and is all done now for GAC). -Susanlesch 09:39, 28 March 2007 (UTC)
    • WP:IGNORE :) Minnesota went through much change while up for FA. The stability requirement is in regards to people not edit warring over material and is not intended to prevent the article from being improved. -Ravedave 00:46, 29 March 2007 (UTC)
  • Ignore will work, thank you. -Susanlesch 03:51, 29 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Minnesota Vikings seasons

I have created a Minnesota Vikings seasons list which is up for WP:FL nomination and I was hoping that some people from WikiProject Minnesota, especially sports fans, could review it and leave comments here, especially if improvements are necessary. Thanks! RyguyMN 05:42, 30 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] List of Minnesota state parks

This article has been revamped to include a table listing of Minnesota's 71 state parks. The table is used in List of Pennsylvania state parks, which is a Wikipedia:Featured list. I'm currently filling in park details and hopefully this list will reach FL status one day. RyguyMN 14:55, 31 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Threatened article

Many Point Scout Camp is being nominated for a merge. --evrik (talk) 17:55, 3 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] New articles

Dear Wikipedians, a list of possible Minnesota-related articles found by bot is available at User:AlexNewArtBot/MinnesotaSearchResult. Colchicum 14:51, 6 April 2007 (UTC)

I have added a section with a workflow to the page. Thank you! -Ravedave 02:39, 8 April 2007 (UTC)
