[edit] NPOV problems
This article has serious POV problems. I especially note that User: WN8KCY (contributions) is associated with a number of edits that include informal or nonencyclopedic language, addition of "famous alumni" that don't seem to fit the criteria for notability, various non-neutral comments about changes to policies such as employee benefits, and what appears to be original research with respect to the college's financial statements.
I get the distinct impression that the user is affiliated with the school in some way — which is not only OK, but is even normal for college-related articles, in my experience — and is perhaps finding it difficult to write about Wiley-related topics on which s/he has a strong opinion. I notice that the user has edited no other articles, while editing this one several times over a period of months. Having never even been to Marshall, I have no connection to the college and am not sure I'd be able to sort out the problems, but I wanted to summarize them for the benefit of any editors who might be more familiar with the topic than I and more experienced than other users at following the Wikipedia policies and guidelines.
I don't have a problem with our recording it if there is reliably documented criticism of Wiley's policies. I only have a problem if we're going to violate Wikipedia's standards in an effort to draw attention to something about which we have personal complaints. Lawikitejana 23:37, 22 October 2006 (UTC)
