J. Wilder Tasker was a college football coach at Connecticut, William & Mary, and Rutgers. From 1921 to 1922, he coached at Connecticut, where he compiled a 5-8-4 record. From 1923 to 1927, he coached at William & Mary, where he compiiled a 31-17-2 record. From 1931 to 1937, he coached at Rutgers, where he compiled a 31-27-5 record.
