[edit] History
The station was added to the line in 1938, well after the line from Belmore to Bankstown opened in 1909[1], to interchange with the strategic King Georges Road. While adjacent stations have island platforms, this station was built with side platforms and the architecture of the station buildings is significantly different.
[edit] Service
The station is served by four trains per hour for most of the time, with additional trains at weekday peak hours, and a half hourly service late in the evenings and on weekends.
[edit] Accessibility
The station has street access to both platforms via ramps. This allows for Easy Access for wheelchairs.
