William Lovelock

William Lovelock (b. 1899, London; d. Shipston on Stour, Warwickshire, 1986) was an English classical composer and pedagogue. In 1956 he moved to Brisbane, Australia, where he was director of the Queensland Conservatorium of Music, and later music critic of the Brisbane Courier Mail. He wrote numerous textbooks on music harmony and theory.
In 1981, after the death of his wife, he returned to England.
