Wo Hop

Wo Hop is a Cantonese style Chinese food restaurant, located in Chinatown,New York City. It is a historical chinese food restaurant located at 17 Mott Street, just south of Canal Street. Established in 1938 Wo Hop is a Zagat rated restaurant open 24/7, and closed for the Chinese New Year.
The Wo Hop at 17 Mott Street should not be confused with the Wo Hop at 15 Mott Street, which is above ground.

- Located close to the command center, many off duty NYPD police officers frequent Wo Hop.
- Wo Hop features headshots of its customers, which consumes every open space of wall.
- Wo Hop Has Badges of Law enforcement agencies as far as Honolulu, Hawaii.
- Wo Hop was featured on Comedy Central's original show Insomniac with Dave Attell
- Oddly enough, there is another restaurant named Wo Hop, located at 15 Mott street.
- Wo Hop is also known for its long "wait-time" for seating. The usual wait is anywhere from 15 minutes to over an hour. Patrons stand outside on long lines braving all types of weather to eat here.
Wo Hop has delicious pork, but the bathroom needs improvement.
