Woodford, New South Wales

Woodford is a village in the City of the Blue Mountains in New South Wales, Australia. It is in the Blue Mountains west of Sydney. It is on the Great Western Highway and has a station (opened in 1868 as Buss's Platform)[1] on the Main Western railway line served by CityRail's Blue Mountains services.
In 2001, the population of Woodford and adjoining Linden was 2,389, including 30 indigenous persons (1.3%) and 1,834 persons born in Australia (76.8%).[2]
