WPOI
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
WPOI-FM, known as "101.5 The Point", is an FM radio station in Tampa, Florida that plays music from the 1980s as well as the late 1970s and the early 1990s. This is why its tagline is: "The best of the '80s and more".
Jeff Callahan occasionally serves as the station's afternoon drive DJ.
[edit] Criticism
The station has been criticized for playing the same music over and over with very little variety. WPOI's playlist consists of well-known songs that were former No. 1 hits on the Billboard Top 100, which puts strict limits on the variety of songs it can play.
