WTGS (Fox 28) is the Fox affiliate in Savannah, Georgia. It is owned by Bluenose Broadcasting Of Savannah, which also owns WJCL. WJCL was previously owned by L.P. Media, Inc., an affiliate company of Lewis Broadcasting Corp. WTGS is licensed in Hardeeville, South Carolina, with studios located in Savannah and transmitter located west of the city near the Ogeechee River (which marks the Chatham / Bryan County line, near Fort Stewart).

The station signed on the air on September 1, 1985, as an independent station before becoming an affiliate of Fox in 1987.
