Invasion (sometimes typeset "InVasion" or alternatively billed as Invasion: WCW/ECW vs. WWF ) was a pay-per-view event that took place on July 22, 2001 at the Gund Arena in Cleveland, Ohio. The official theme songs were "Creature Discomfort" (a World Wrestling Federation production) and "The Fight Song" by Marilyn Manson[citation needed]. Invasion took the place of Fully Loaded as part of the ongoing Invasion storyline. As part of the angle, Linda McMahon had every match feature WWF wrestlers against WCW/ECW wrestlers.
