Yaxley, Cambridgeshire

Yaxley is a village in the county of Cambridgeshire, United Kingdom.
Originally in the now disbanded county of Huntingdonshire, it is due south of the city of Peterborough skirted to its west by the A15 road approximately three miles north-east of Norman Cross (junction 16 of the A1M). Located near the Hampton township development, Yaxley is not far from attractions and has a regular bus service into the city centre.
Yaxley has a Police Station. Fire Station, Library, a Church, Doctors surgery, three schools and a host of other facilities.
The approxiamate population of Yaxley is estimated at around 20,000 as of 2007.
