Yevgeny Sudbin

Yevgeny Sudbin (1980-) is a Russian concert pianist. Born in St. Petersburg, he studied at the St. Petersburg Conservatory and the Hochschule Hanns Eisler in Berlin. His education has also included lessons with Murray Perahia, Claude Frank, Leon Fleisher, Stephen Kovacevich, Dmitri Bashkirov, Fou Ts'ong, Stephen Hough, Alexander Satz, and Maria Curcio. He has been hailed as "one of the most important pianistic talents of our time," (Harriett Smith, International Record Review) and as "a pianist of uncommon sensitivity and refinement" by The Independent (UK).
He has lived in London since 1997.
