I'm an Inkscape developer and fourth-year student at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, majoring in Computer Science and minoring in Japanese. I enjoy studying Japanese, lingustics, playing trumpet, and BeMaNi video games, among many other interests that I won't bother to list lest this turn into a personal.

I strongly encourage the use of Free software and Open Source, as well as application of the ideals embodied within the Free Software movement wherever appropriate. Those ideals also apply to Wikipedia by virtue of its usage of the GNU Free Documentation License, which I suppose partly explains my interest in the Wikipedia project.

I started editing Wikipedia articles ever since I noticed the article on CLAMP, and have slowly started to edit and append to articles reflecting on my recreational interests. Professional interests -- mathematics, swarm intelligence, artificial intelligence, computer networks -- seem to already be covered by people far sharper and more competent than I.

I maintain a MediaWiki-powered wiki dedicated to providing information on anime music video creation at http://www.amvwiki.org.
