Ezekiel 'Zeke' Kinski is a fictional character on the Australian soap Neighbours, and is portrayed by Matthew Werkmeister. He first appeared in late 2005 along with his sister, Rachel Kinski (portrayed by Caitlin Stasey) and currently remains on the show.
He is the extremely intelligent son of Alex Kinski (Andrew Clarke), and brother of Rachel and Katya (Dichen Lachman). He was Bree Timmins' boyfriend for a while, until she broke up with him because of his inability to lie to his father. After his father's death, Zeke stopped speaking as he thought he killed his father by wishing that he was the one who died instead of his mother, but when his sister was electrocuted by a faulty kitchen appliance, Zeke was forced to speak to an emergency operator and has since resumed speaking as normal. A memorable Zeke moment was in 2006, when he dressed as a girl and became hyperactive from drinking red lemonade, at Rachel's sleepover with Summer Hoyland (Marisa Siketa). Zeke has since started dating Bree again, and feels threatened by the fame she is now getting. He has also moved back in with his step-mother Susan (Jackie Woodburne), along with Katya and Rachel. Zeke's PE teacher Pepper Steiger (Nicky Whelan) started sleepwalking, and while doing this one night approached Zeke and told him that she loved him. Because of this, he thought that she wanted to be with him and tried to impress her by doing things that confused her. At Pepper's engagement party, Zeke announced that the engagement was a sham and that she was in love with him, and he then realised that she wasn't really in love with him. Later that night, Zeke and Rachel discovered that Pepper was sleepwalking. Recently he got back together with Bree. In the final episode of 2006, he was held hostage along with Katya, Toadie Rebecchi (Ryan Moloney), Stephanie Hoyland (Carla Bonner), and Charlie Hoyland (Aaron Aulsebrook-Walker) by Guy Sykes (Fletcher Humphrys). Zeke managed to distract Guy by hitting him on the head with something, and Toadie wrestled Guy to the ground as everybody else escaped. Toadie was later shot as he escaped, but survived.
In early 2007, Zeke was forced to track down Katya, who fled Erinsborough in order to keep Guy away from her family.
