Zervi

Zervi is a small village in Greece in the northwest of Pella prefecture. Population: 720 (2001). The history of the village is lost within the centuries. Rumors say that it had builded by Byzantine troops in order to defend Vegoritida lake from attacking invaders which were comming from the north. The village produces huge amounts of cherries and peaches every summer and it is listed as one of the best fruit producers in Greece.
