Zoe Johnston

Zoe Johnston is a British singer-songwriter, who grew up in Stapleford, Nottinghamshire[1] Johnston is best known for her vocal contributions to Faithless, Above and Beyond, and Bent.

[edit] Early career
Zoe Johnston made her debut when she was featured on a number of tracks from Neon Heights' album A View From The Heights. At the same time, Johnston was writing lyrics for Bent's debut album Programmed To Love. Johnston's vocals appear on the tracks "Private Road" and "Swollen".
[edit] Touring with Faithless
Her vocal contribution to "Swollen", a track on Programmed To Love, caught the attention of Faithless member Rollo Armstrong, leading to an eighteen-month involvement in Faithless. Johnston performed with the group during their world tour.

Johnston has also performed with The Beautiful South, Delerium, and Above and Beyond.
[edit] Solo album
Zoe Johnston's solo album, Happenstances was released on 27 November 2006 by Shiva Records. The album includes an original version of one of Johnston's best known tracks — "Crazy English Summer", from Faithless album Outrospective.
