- Have you heard ofthe virtual console that's going to let you dowload old ROMs onto the Nontendo Wii and XBox 360? It's probably going to inspire a legal crackdown on emulation when they come to market, so the whole ROM trading community is going to be like the mp3 swappers when they started the legal crackdown on Napster/Kazaa.

Zophar is... dead? :( Ash link 21:41, 9 November 2006 (UTC)
I'm a member there. Sam says he might revamp it in the future, but for right now it's "dead." So there's hope. Soniczip
Rejoice, emulation fans! Zophar's Domain is not dead! I made the "dead" edits, and now I'm making the "ZD Lives" edits. Soniczip

Ok guys...I re-added the logo since some bot yanked the one someone else uploaded. Obviously it's my logo and I let WP use it. I made a lot of changes...added the actual dates that events happened and linked them to the news archive. Also fixed spelling and grammar errors.
I removed the reference to the site being declared "dead" on November 9, 2006. The site was voluntarily closed without fanfare.
Changed the wording about the flash linkers...you didn't mention that NOA wanted to confiscate the units. Per the letter: "...and turn over your remaining stock to Nintendo." Tried to find the actual email and get a screen shot, but my email prior to 2003 is missing....best I could do is link to the post on the site with the text.
I completely disagree with this "attacks on the site" section and think it should be removed. It serves no purpose other than vanity for vandals. However, I have a little bias here so I won't remove it myself.
If you can think of any more info you want me to dig up and add, put up a ZD section on my talk page or mention it here. --SamMichaels 03:53, 4 January 2007 (UTC)
