Description of the original image:
A TeleVideo 925 computer terminal. This was a text-only smart terminal, with uppercase and lowercase letters, cursor postioning, and a unique set of escape sequences for a command set. The terminal used ASCII character codes and connected to a host computer through an RS-232 port at speeds up to 19,200 bits per second. The processor was a MOS Technology 6502. The terminal has 4 kilobytes of RAM, two 4 kilobyte ROM chips, and uses TTL for interconnecting the VLSI integrated circuits. Though this device is plainly a DTE, its RS-232 ports use female DB-25 connectors, probably because these put the fragile male pin connectors on an easily changed cable.
This particular 925 appears to have been manufactured in late 1982. In this picture it is displaying a self-test.
