Image title | The swinging doors contain the rockets of the F-94C Starfire interceptor. These 24 rockets represent half of the firepower complement of this all-weather fighter of the 48th Fighter-Interceptor Sq. When the doors are closed in flight, the rockets are fired through the four panels directly behind the radome, which are opened just before firing. A/2C Francis E. Abt (L) and A/2c M.C. Harlow work in the bay. |
