Thanks 4.249.168.18 for the extra information - though it is written in a manner that is slightly POV.

This article is completely POV, making wild accusations of lies and "covering up his homosexuality" are slander. Fabian Basabe has contacted the Help Desk mailing list requesting that this information be removed, and I see no reason why it should remain without documentation. User:Thesaunterer keeps reverting his/her unsourced edits, even though several different editors keep removing them. Zoe (216.234.130.130 21:16, 19 December 2005 (UTC))

The biased editor above deleted my sources to make the article seem less credible. BTW, it was not I who wrote anything in this article regarding homsexuality. Thesaunterer 21:48, 19 December 2005 (UTC)

I tried to make the article less POV. It was the way it was written, not the allegations themselves, that made it POV. If someone knows that these allegations have been made in certain news outlets, it is O.K. to state as much (this outlet said this), as long as the article itself doesn't make allegations. I don't know if the claims are true, nor do I know if the stated new outlets have made such claims, but if they have, we can report so as fact (if they have) - it is a fact that this outlet said this, whether or not what the outlet said was itself true. - Matthew238

I took out a number of sentences that were exact duplicates of each other, cleaned up some syntax and internal links, found the NY Post reference and added it since its mentioned in the article. I took out the two links you had added back because they go to the exact same article in the NY Post thats already referenced -- there's no reason to put the reference multiple times, is there? dear readers - i have asked for this page to be removed and it seems someone has an awful lot of time and a strange obsession to continue posting the same untruthes. let me provide you with some information... the photograph was with barbara not jenna, my father has never been convicted of tax fraud or anything else for that matter, our financial standing is none of your concern and definately beyond your comprehension...the warrents mentioned below were bench warrants for traffic incidents which have been attended to, please understand i cannot control what information is out there and from reading the horrible things people claim to know about me i am certain i cannot trust that people would maintain some level of character and integrity in place of their bitter envy and ignorance. i sincerely wish you all a happy new year and hope this year brings some goodness to your lives....and a little common sense! fb —the preceding unsigned comment is by 68.174.4.19 (talk • contribs)

Fabian, While your input is appreciated, perhaps the problem is that you spend too much time cultivating a public profile. What is "beyond our comprehension" is that you are mentioned in any encyclopedic effort. By the way, "definitely" doesn't have an "a" in it. Get over yourself; we're already over you.

Are Gawker and Jossip appropriate sources? They are gossip blogs. Should the references and links to them be deleted? Aoibheannniamh 02:17, 23 July 2006 (UTC)

Neither source meets the reliable sources criteria. Those links and information in the article from them was removed. Also, a quote supposedly made during the nightclub incident wasn't in the source at all and has been removed as well. The section about the New York Observer stating that Fabian lied about his father is commented out for the time being -- none of the references have that Observer article -- please remove the comment marks when that reference is found; I tried searching but wasn't able to find it. As always, things can be added back if a source for them is found (assuming it meets WP:RS). Its kinda scary that this article got kept, I've had a really hard time finding anything on this guy, even when searching *shudder* gossip columns. Shell ^babelfish 17:31, 1 August 2006 (UTC)
