FAIM
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
FAIM (Official site) - Flat Assembler Instant Messenger, or Flat Assembled Instant Messenger. It is written with Flat Assembler by Victor Loh (aka Roticv) and Yunus Sina Gülşen (aka ysg). The original idea and most of the gui code belongs to ysg as well as huge part of the protocol code and the website was done by Roticv. FAIM's purpose is to be the most compact ICQ client, and has a very small file size(~50 kb). Contrastly to other ICQ clients, which have grown in size over the years due to the adding of different features, FAIM is a stripped down shell, with support only for basic chat and a friends list, hence its small file size.
