Faisal ibn Hamad Al Khalifah

Shaikh Faisal bin Hamad Al Khalifa (Arabic: فيصل بن حمد آل خليفة) (February 12, 1991-January 12, 2006) was the sixth son of Shaikh Hamad ibn Isa al-Khalifa, the king of Bahrain. Amongst his other titles, he was the Honorary President of the Bahrain Disabled Sports Federation. He was killed in an automobile accident on January 12, 2006 near Zallaq when the pink Audi he was in collided with a bus and left the road. Reports have provided conflicting information about whether the prince or his bodyguard was driving at the time; the bodyguard survived the crash but is in critical condition. Prince Faisal was buried early the next day in the Al Rifa'a Cemetery.
