Talk:Fairfax, California
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
It is true that Van Morrison's parents had a record store in Fairfax- it was called Caledonia Records, and it was next to the head shop on Bolinas Road. John Walker Lindh didn't live in Fairfax, but in neighboring San Anselmo. Polly Klaas was from Sonoma County, not Marin County.
[edit] Hearsay Stories
Someone suggested that the "Hearsay" section should be removed, but I disagree. There is rich history in the town of Fairfax and it should be discussed and remembered. If something cannot be verified for its veracity, we should still know that it may be true. If it can be proven false, then it should be removed or moved to a new section discussing disproved rumors.
- The Wikipedia is an encyclopedia. Any of the 'stories' in the Hearsay Stories section that can't be referenced not only should be deleted, but must be deleted, according to Wikipedia policy. BlankVerse 04:15, 2 February 2007 (UTC)
