Might be a little late, but...
If I were you, I wouldn't reply to Tbeatty on that arbcom page anymore. He's just trying to provoke you so you'll get banned. He does this sort of thing ALL THE TIME and has been largely successful. He's tried to pull it off on me too, and I've found the best thing to do is just not reply and let third parties evaluate the situation. Milto LOL pia 15:42, 28 March 2007 (UTC)
Wikipedia:Requests for arbitration/Free Republic
This arbitration case has closed and the final decision is available at the link above. The indefinite community ban of User:BryanFromPalatine for tendentious editing, personal attacks, block evasion and disruption is endorsed. The ban also applies to User:DeanHinnen and all other proxies or sockpuppets of BryanFromPalatine. User:Fairness And Accuracy For All is banned from Wikipedia for one year. The articles Free Republic and Democratic Underground are placed on article probation. It is expected that these articles will be improved to conform with Wikipedia:Neutral point of view, and that information contained in them will be supported by verifiable information from reliable sources. Either article may be reviewed on the motion of any arbitrator, or upon acceptance by the Arbitration Committee of a motion made by any user, and users whose editing is disruptive may be banned or their editing restricted as the result of a review. This notice is given by a clerk on behalf of the Arbitration Committee. Newyorkbrad 00:40, 29 March 2007 (UTC)
See y'all in a year!
Bye - Thanks to all who have looked out for me and shown kindness - BenBurch, TravB, Seabchan, et al, and the numerous good admins like Jossi, Gamaliel, Durova, Prodego, Picaroon, et al. Thanks to Fred for being open to my proposal for probation and Guy for pursuing sockpuppetry so vigorously.
Someone suggested that I petition ArbCom to have my 1 year block reduced in 3 months time. Maybe I'll do that!
See y'all in a year ! (or sooner) (I'll update this page with an entirely civil essay soon, if allowed)
Après moi, le déluge ! - FaAfA BANNED! 01:10, 29 March 2007 (UTC)
- Well since I seem to be a 'good admin', and not a 'pursuer or provoker'. I will reply. I hope you do return FAAFA, and I hope you will not have any more troubles when you return. Take your year off, and I hope you see that most of us here just want to keep things running smoothly, and that disputes detract from that. Good luck in the real world, and may I recommend, if you do come back, you follow your part C proposal! :) Prodego talk 01:16, 29 March 2007 (UTC)
Thank you, FaAfA, for making a dignified exit. If you'd like your userpage banner to include that shiny stop sign, you know where to find me. ;) Picaroon 21:22, 29 March 2007 (UTC)
