Falcon, Colorado

Falcon is a small, rapidly growing unincorporated exurb 14 miles northeast of Colorado Springs in El Paso County, Colorado, United States. It is home to Falcon School District 49. District 49 is undergoing rapid growth and is unable to match the pace of growth with new buildings. As a result, overcrowding is a trademark of District 49 schools. The high school in Falcon is Falcon High School, with the mascot of a Falcon. A new Falcon High school is currently undergoing construction. Falcon Colorado, includes areas such as Woodmen Hills, Falcon Hills, Falcon Hights and Meridian Ranch.
