The Cape Cod Baseball League generally plays games from the middle of June to the first week of August. Like other Cape League teams, the Commodores are funded through merchandise sales, donations, and other fundraising efforts at games such as fifty-fifty raffles. Home games typically begin at 7:00 pm during the week, and at 5:30 on weekends. The Commodores home ballpark, Arnie Allen Diamond at Guv Fuller Field is one of 6 ballparks in the Cape League with the luxury of lights, allowing them to host night games.
[edit] History
The Commodores have captured 6 Cape Cod Baseball League Championships in the league's "Modern Era" (typically defined as beginning in 1963), including 4 in a row from 1968-1971. Their last championship came in 1980 when they defeated the Chatham Athletics, 3 games to 2. The Commodores have lost in the finals 4 times, most recently in the 2004 season.
