Fante language

Fante is one of the languages spoken in Ghana. The Twi and Asante is similar in maying aspects, but differs on pronouciation. Fante is a very demanding, but graceful language which stems from the stomach in tone and is considered a dialect of Akan. Fante is the common language communicated bewteen the several Kingdoms of the Fante though each have their own language. Many Fanti never spoke any other language but their own. It is said to be classified as Niger-Congo, which is a branch of Niger-Kordofanian. Kwame Nkrumah was one of the great spokeman of this language. Some other notable speakers are Kofi Annan.
