Faruk Hadžibegić

Faruk Hadžibegic (born October 7, 1957 in Sarajevo, SR Bosnia, SFR Yugoslavia), is a retired Bosnian football (soccer) player. During his career he played for FK Sarajevo, FC Sochaux of France and Real Betis of Spain. He was also a participant in the 1990 FIFA World Cup in Italy for the Yugoslavia national football team. He missed the final penalty kick in the quarter-finals against Argentina, sending his team home.
