Talk:Farmer's Union Iced Coffee
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Well this is from the other article. It seemed weird to have the articles "iced coffee" and "Iced coffee" link to completely different stories. Now this has a specific page and doesnt come under the broad term. This is in fact only one brand and doesnt encompass all interpretations of what iced coffee is around the world. -Jayzamann 06:59, 22 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] NPOV / Advertisement Issue
It seems to me that the article's discussion of Farmer's Union Iced Coffee will usually resemble an advertisement, given that the article does not discuss a generic product (iced coffee) nor a general brand alone (Farmer's Union or National Foods). Furthermore, the section addressing the advertisements actually used to promote this product in Australia demonstrates the "larrikin" culture surrounding this brand of Australian iced coffee.
I query whether the article actually needs a rider disputing NPOV. To this end I propose the removal of the advert template transclusion. Slicer 12:47, 26 August 2006 (UTC)
