Thanks for starting articles on D&D creatures. In order to work toward uniformity on all the D&D articles, please see some of the edits I made to those articles (ie, headers, use of italics & bolding, etc). There are a number of wikiprojects you may be interested in helping with as well, such as Wikipedia:WikiProject Role-playing games, Wikipedia:WikiProject Greyhawk, and Wikipedia:WikiProject Forgotten Realms. There currently is no Wikipedia:WikiProject Dungeons & Dragons, but hopefully someone will eventually start one. In the future, leave messages on user talk pages (click the "discussion" tab, rather than on the front page. I know you're new, so once is no big deal, but don't make a habit of it--a lot of people get hacked off when others edit their user page.--Robbstrd 01:16, 31 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] D&D creatures
Please see some of the previous articles written on D&D creatures for help [1]. Each should, at the minimum, have sections titled "Physical description," "Society," and "References."--Robbstrd 13:37, 2 September 2006 (UTC)
- FYI, some of your monsters have found their way to the chopping block. Joystealer, Seryulin, Losel, Kruthik, Heway, Grisgol, Hsing-sing, and Crucian are heading for disaster, unless you can find a way to improve them.

[edit] Dungeons & Dragons standard creatures
Hi. If you're adding creatures to Category:Dungeons & Dragons standard creatures which are also in Category:Dungeons & Dragons creatures, could I also ask you to remove them from the parent cat, per WP:SUBCAT: "In straightforward cases an article should not be in both a category and its subcategory". - Basically, yes: a few things (eg Creature Type (Dungeons & Dragons)) will probably stay, but other than that Category:Dungeons & Dragons creatures will be empty. Cheers --Pak21 10:29, 23 November 2006 (UTC)

- When you edit a page, you'll see a small window below the main one where you do your edits. It has "Edit summary (Briefly describe the changes you have made):" right above it. Using this lets other know at a glance what changes you've made when we check our watchlists. [edit] Forgotten Realms Creatures category
Please stop adding this category to every D&D monster. These categories were removed following discussion on the D&D wikiproject page (please monitor the project page for updates). You're creating a lot of unnecessary work for other editors. Basically, monsters should only get campaign setting categories if A) they are exclusive to that setting; or B) the article has a section describing the monster's role in that setting (such as "Drow in the Forgotten Realms"). [edit] D&D creature pages need image URLs
I noticed that you are working on a bunch of the D&D creature pages. Don't know if you want any extra work, but they need to have wizard.com image URLs added. Basically like I did with the Nothic here. Wizards.com seems to have an image for every creature. Here's how I found the image for the Nothic. - Yep, you just add links to the images. For legal reasons we can't include the actual images on the page. If you look at Nothic, you can see the result in the infobox. Also, try and find the best/largest images you can. The google image search will usually return a thumbnail, but if you click on the thumbnail within the actual page (and not google's version) it will usually lead to a larger image. - Peregrine Fisher 03:44, 29 March 2007 (UTC)
