Benavides Pompa is the son of Felipe de Jesús Benavides Guerra, who founded Farmacias Benavides with the acquisition of Botica El Carmen in 1917 in Monterrey. Due to inadequate administration the family had to sell the company to Fasa, a Chilean corporation. [1]
