Talk:Felix Dzerzhinsky Watch Regiment
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I'm requesting a page move from current title to "Feliks Dzerzhinsky Guards Regiment" for reason stated below:
The usual translation of "Wachregiment" is "Guards Regiment," though "Watch" is also an acceptable translation. But in English usage, the equivalent term is "Guards." E.g., units of the British army with similar functions are called "Guards," as in the Queen's "Life Guards."
Thanks! -- User:langohio
- I removed the WP:LE tag as this is a military articleEMT1871 01:08, 20 January 2007 (UTC)
