From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Hello Fernandobouregard. My name is Orane (but I go by the name 'Journalist' on Wikipedia) and I am one of Wikipedia's Administrators. I just stopped by to say Hi and to formally welcome you to Wikipedia. Thank you for your awesome contributions so far. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. I know that being here for the first few days may be a bit confusing, but you'll get used to it pretty soon.
Here are a few good links for newcomers. I know that they can be boring, but I recommend that you take a look at them:
- Policies and guidelines
- What Wikipedia is not
- Editing, policy, conduct, and structure tutorial
- Manual of Style

[edit] vanity articles
Some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article Duane Cave may not be sufficiently well-known to merit articles of their own. The Wikipedia community welcomes newcomers, and encourages them to become Wikipedians. On Wikipedia, each user is entitled to a user page in which they can describe themselves, and this article's content may be incorporated into that page. However, to merit inclusion in the encyclopedia proper, a subject must be notable. We encourage you to write or improve articles on notable subjects. Vegaswikian 02:41, 28 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Andy Richter Controls the Universe
Hey there. Can I ask you what your source was on the surname "Richards" for the character Keith on the show? I know someone wrote it on imdb, but imdb is not a reliable source for many things. I watched the series last summer and took note of all the surnames that came up, and Keith's was never given that I saw. Did you see it on the show, or are you sourcing some website? TheHYPO 04:11, 12 February 2007 (UTC)
- OK - I'm going to revert it. I know you mean well by it, and assumed it was correct, but if it's not in the series, it shouldn't be taken as canon, as I'm sure you agree :) TheHYPO 06:07, 12 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] 30 Rock screen caps
I'll try and add screencaps this week. I've been lazy, waiting to see if someone else would do it. - Peregrine Fisher 05:12, 18 February 2007 (UTC)
- Do you want to know how to do it yourself? - Peregrine Fisher 05:15, 18 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Template:30 Rock nav
Should we use this template? We already have previous and next in the infobox. - Peregrine Fisher 21:43, 22 February 2007 (UTC)
- I'm going to remove it. Yeah, I'll get caps of those characters up soon. - Peregrine Fisher 21:52, 22 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Weathers and Arnett Articles
I had a look at the Carl Weathers and Will Arnett articles. They both need expansion and above all references. The Arnett article is somewhat better, for example having more photos and less trivia. I added Persondata and references needed templates to both articles. -Duribald 01:09, 24 February 2007 (UTC)
- To get a higher rating, B is still generous, the article would have to be subsatantially longer, containing much more than a quick review of his life and work - the prose would also have to be worked on. To get an "A" rating you need really good, solid references, preferably from reliable sources of the paper variety. Check the criteria for an A-class article on the Biography project page, look at the example article about Linus Pauling and of course Wikipedia:How_to_write_a_great_article . -Duribald 16:43, 24 February 2007 (UTC)
