[edit] History
Fight Paris was formed in 2003 after Jason Krutzky (drums), Kevin Phillips (vocals), and Neil Warren (guitar), Champ Champagne (bass, vocals), and Matt Tanner(guitar) were already playing under the moniker Chronic MD.[1] They changed their name and decided to move to a town with a better music scene, and picked up and moved to Sacramento, California. There, they recorded their music and helmed their "southern rock" sound for six months. after recording their record, they moved back to Atlanta to release it on their own, but was offered a deal with Trustkill Records. .[2] With their new freedom under the current label, they produced their first album, Paradise, Found, featuring the single "Complete Heat".[3]
The band holds a philosophy of "party hard, work harder."[4] They record all of their own music and create and distribute all of their own merchandise.
In the summer of 2005, Fight Paris toured throughout the United States.
The band is currently working on their second album with their new singer Matt Tanner who was the lead guitarist on Paradise Lost.
