Filipp Malyavin

Filipp Andreevich Malyavin (1869-1940) was a Russian painter and draftsman. Malyavin studied at the icon-painting workshop at Saint Panteleimon's monastery on the Mount Athos, in 1892-1899, at the Academy of Arts in St. Petersburg under Ilya Repin. In 1906 he became academician and in 1922 he moved abroad.
