Firebrands
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Firebrands is the name of an emerging rock band based in Singapore. The group has been performing and recording a blend of Hard Rock, Funk, Rap and Electronica since early 2005. A debut album titled "First The Flash Then The Pulse" was released on September 11 2006, distributed by EMI and marketed by groovyrecords International.
Firebrands are considered to be an intriguing band to track given that the ideology behind their music and artwork; a search for truth, freedom and beauty; contrast sharply with the stark political and social monotone that serves as their backdrop.
Though not enjoying much success at home, their global appeal has proven to be significant, with invitations to perform in the UK, Australia, and in numerous Asian nations. Tracks from "First The Flash Then The Pulse" are currently being played on over 70 radio stations in over 30 nations.
Firebrands are Exe on vocals, Roman Tarrasov on guitars, Ghost on bass, Jachin Pousson on drums, doctormix on turntables and SFX.
