Fired Up (TV series)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Fired Up was a short-lived 1997-1998 comedy television sitcom airing on NBC. It lasted for 28 episodes. It was a contemporary of shows such as Caroline in the City and Suddenly Susan. If fact, at one point, all of these shows were part of a Monday-night television promotion of shows about single women living in the modern world. This may have been an attempt to compete with Fox's Ally McBeal, which also aired on Monday nights. The tagline of the series was "First she got fired, then she got fired up."
The show centered around Gwen Leonard, played by Sharon Lawrence. It also featured Mark Feuerstein and Leah Remini.
