Firestorm is an open-sourced Terrorist against Counter-Terrorist freeware First Person Shooter, running on the open-sourced Quake III and Quake II based engine, Qfusion. It has a various assorted inventory of weaponry available, with gamemodes such as Deathmatch and Teamplay.
Firestorm is currently in early beta stages. A release date remains unknown.

This is the complete weapon list for the latest version. In later versions, weapons will be expanded and will be more customizable on the player's end. (Note: The descriptions for each weapon are those that appear in the menus in-game.)

This handgun was developed under request from US SOCOM (Special Operations Command) and entered the competition with Colt for OHWS - Offensive Handgun Weapon System - first offensive handgun for US Military.

The Desert Eagle Pistol was conceived in 1979, when three people with an idea for creating a gas- operated semi-automatic, magnum-caliber pistol founded Magnum Research, Inc. in St. Paul, Minnesota (USA).

The FN P90 submachine gun (SMG) was developed in the late 1980s as a defensive weapon for the troops whose primary activities does not include small arms - vehicle and tank crew members artillery crews etc. The P90 is a blowback operated, selective fire weapon. It is fed from 50-rounds box magazines, made from translucent polymer.

Mossberg 500, along with Remington 870 and Winchester 1300, is one of the most poular and versatile USA-made pump action shotguns. Mossberg 500 is magazine feed, manually operated (pump action) smoothbore gun.

Early in 1990s, the old idea of replacing the pistols in the hands of the troops with some more effective, shoulder fired weapon, rise again in the heads of the US Military. In fact, this idea can be dated back to the US M1 Carbine of 1941. In the 1994, US Army adopted the Colt Model 720 selective-fire carbine (basically, a shortened M16A2 rifle), as the US M4 Carbine.
