Flag of Nakhichevan
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The flag of Nakhichevan is officially that of Azerbaijan. However, another flag was used in 1991 by separatist groups in Nakhichevan during the breakup of the former Soviet Union. While similar to the flag of Azerbaijan, it uses yellow in one of its stripes and in the star and crescent. The status of this flag has been unofficial since 1993.
