Flesh

Flesh by definition is composite of all the soft parts of the body of a human or animal which is between the skin and the bones. Flesh mainly references to skeletal muscle and associated fat, though it includes all parts of body except skin and bones.
Word meat is used if animal flesh is used to consume as food. Softness of body is generally atributed to flesh, though muscles comprised give a notion of hardness.
