Flick Knives and Splinters (often shortened to simply FKAS) is a Death Thrash Punk band from the UK. Known for their blend of aggressive, short and violent style of writing.

The band consists of Sadee, Laura, Phil and Pete.

The band have had several line-up changes and were on hiatus for a year, until recently.

The band are soon to re-release their album 'If She Could Speak' with added tracks from early demos 'I was Dead Before' and 'S/T' All of which were recorded with what many consider to be the 'classic' line-up of Sadee, Laura, Peter, Rob and Pat. A time often reffered to by the band today as 'the dark days'

After the release of the album they received wide spread praise, but Robs refusal to tour proved to hold the band back and they disbanned in 2004 when Sadee left for university and Rob was eventually kicked out.

In the following few Months both Pete and Laura moved to Leeds and eventually things got going again. After a lengthly search for a new guitarist Phil was chosen.

The band are set to release a split 7" with Patient Zero from Boston, and a one sided 7" of there own. A tour with TV Party of is planned in August 2007.
