Frédéric-Yves Jeannet

Frédéric-Yves Jeannet (born in Grenoble, France on 18 March 1959) is a French novelist, critic and interviewer. His first book was published in 1985. He took up Mexican citizenship in 1987. He has published extensively in France, Belgium and Mexico. His most well-known books are Cyclone (1997) and Charité (2000). He has also published book-length interviews of Michel Butor, Annie Ernaux and Hélène Cixous.
Jeannet currently teaches French literature at Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand.
