Francis Godolphin Osborne, 1st Baron Godolphin (18 October 1777–15 February 1850) was a British politician, known as Lord Francis Osborne from 1789-1832.
Osborne was the second son of Francis Osborne, 5th Duke of Leeds and his wife, Amelia. From 1801-31, he was a Member of Parliament (with a brief interruption from 1806-10) and was created Baron Godolphin, of Farnham Royal in the County of Buckingham in 1832. On 31 March 1800, he had married Hon. Elizabeth Eden (the third daughter of the 1st Baron Auckland) and they had five children:
- Hon. George Godolphin Osborne, later 2nd Baron Godolphin, later still 8th Duke of Leeds (1802-1872)
- Hon. William Godolphin Osborne (1804-1888), granted (with his brother, Sydney) the rank of a younger son of a duke in 1859.
- Hon. Sydney Godolphin Osborne, religious minister (1808-1889)
- Hon D'Arcy Godolphin Osborne (1814-1846)
- Hon Charlotte Godolphin Osborne (d. 1838), married Sir Theodore Broadhead, 1st Baronet.
On Lord Godolphin's death in 1850, his title passed to his eldest son, George, who later inherited the dukedom of Leeds from his cousin in 1859.
