The Lough Gowna Valley is a study of an Irish Midland region, from its geological formation to the present. Surrounded by controversy, this book provoked a local outcry upon its release in 2002 due to its somewhat brutal appraisal of country life. The Shooting of More O'Ferrall follows the illegal shooting by the I.R.A. of Richard More O'Ferrall. Chicago May, Queen of the Blackmailers is a biography of the notorious May Duignan.
