Frank E. Lucas

Frank E. Lucas (August 4, 1876 - November 26, 1948) was an American politician who served as the governor of Wyoming from 1924 until 1925. He was a Republican. He was born in Grant City, Missouri.
Upon the death of Governor William B. Ross in 1924, Lucas, being Secretary of State of Wyoming at the time, was next in line of succession. He served until the elections of 1925 put Nellie Tayloe Ross in power, the first woman to do so in the United States.
