Frank Kaderabek

Frank Kaderabek is the former principal trumpet of the Philadelphia Orchestra and trumpet instructor of the Curtis Institute in Philadelphia. Born in Chicago, he studied with Adolph Herseth and moved to New York to study with Harry Glantz and Nathan Prager. He was assistant/third trumpet with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, before he played in Philadelphia with chef conductor Eugene Ormandy. Kaderabek is one of the most important teachers in America. Many students at the Curtis Institute play now in important orchestras.
