Fred Hansen (born 29 December 1940) is an American former athlete who competed mainly in the pole vault.
He competed for the United States in the 1964 Summer Olympics held in Tokyo, Japan in the pole vault where he won the gold medal. He currently is a practicing dentist in Houston, Texas, in the Memorial area of town.
