Frederick William Adolphus Bruce

Frederick William Adolphus Bruce (1814-19 September 1867) was the second Colonial Secretary of Hong Kong. He served the post from 1844 to 1854. In 1851-52, he was chargé d'affaires and consul-general to Uruguay. Afterwards, as the British representative in Washington, D.C. from 1865-03-01 until his death in Boston in 1867.
